When I was very basic user in computer and internet back to 5 years and If I have to download a big file I always prayed to god “Please god make this connection up until my download is finished” but after few time I got to know about there are software that called as download Manager that can increase not only the speed of the download but also they have facility to resume the downloads and

After that I never downloaded any file bigger than 500KB without a download manager.

First ever download manger that I used was DAP the worst download manager I have ever used as I used free version that gave a lot of advertisement and sometimes spywares also and consumes lot of system memory.

After that I found get-right and I found this tool great. But bad thing with get-right was its not free but I used it with key that I arranged from net and it worked great but I was looking for some more better solution that could be free and easy to use. (I am not saying get-right was not easy to use.)

After that my search ended up with Free Download Manager. A great tool that is light weight has the ability to download

You can download FDM Lite version or FDM full version both are free only difference is that full version comes with by default support of video conversion, bit torrent download ,upload support and multiple languages pack. At the same time lite version comes without these supports but you can download them free from same location.

FDM lite is only 1.95MB and fdm full is only 5.62 MB. If you don’t need video conversion support or upload support you can downloadFDM lite and in case of requirement you can add other features in the form of plug-in.
